The house rules
Made so everyone has a good time at the hostel. You accept them the moment you check in.
We are a social hostel with shared spaces
None of this is here to make your life harder: it is so that you, and the people sleeping next to you, have a good stay. If anything is unclear, just ask at reception.
1. Check-in, check-out and extensions
Check-in is from 3:00 p.m. and check-out is at 11:00 a.m. Please stick to these times so we can get the rooms ready for the next travellers.
- If you are late for check-out we may charge up to one extra night.
- We know there is a fair chance you will have so much fun that you will want to stay longer 😜, so let us know in advance and we will try to hold a spot for you.
- If you need to arrive or leave outside these hours, arrange it with us beforehand.
2. Living together and looking after the place
- If something is not working in your room or anywhere in the hostel, tell us. We want you to enjoy your stay 100%!
- If you see any negative or uncomfortable behaviour from other guests or from our staff (yes, we are human too 😅), report it to +57 310 5053160.
- Using or carrying drugs inside the hostel is not allowed. It may lead to the immediate end of your stay, with no refund.
- Do not switch beds without asking at reception first. We know you may prefer a particular bed for comfort, but we need to keep the bookings in order. Switching without permission carries a charge.
- For everyone's safety, outside visitors are not allowed into the dorms. Your roommates (and we 🫰) will thank you.
- Private rooms and dorms are smoke-free. If you need to smoke, we have several areas set up for it.
- If you come back to the hostel after a night out, please keep it quiet. Chances are some guests are already dreaming 😴. From 11:00 p.m. we want the hostel to be a calm place.
- Room items should stay in good condition during your stay. If something goes missing or gets damaged (TVs, remotes, towels, sheets or blankets, for example), we will charge for its replacement.
Once your stay has started we do not refund nights you do not use 😬. Cancellations before you arrive are governed by our payment and cancellation policy.
Terms and conditions3. Your belongings and valuables
We recommend using the lockers for whatever matters most to you, and double-checking before you leave: we would hate for you to lose anything here.
- It has never happened, but it is worth saying: the hostel is not responsible for lost or stolen items, or for damage caused by other guests.
4. Luggage storage
If you need to leave your luggage in our storage room before check-in or after check-out, we are happy to keep it for you.
- All your belongings must be inside your luggage, closed.
- Only you can collect your bag, in person.
- We are not responsible for the items inside the luggage. Any bag or item left in the storage room remains your responsibility.
5. Billing
Payment for your stay is due at check-in, unless we have agreed something different with you.
- If you leave the hostel without paying your bill, we will charge the card on file and may report it to the competent authorities, including the Tourism Police and Migración Colombia.
6. Camping
If you are staying in the camping area, remember you are in a natural, open environment.
- The hostel is not responsible for damage caused by external factors such as local wildlife, branches, wind or other natural conditions.

We confirm the amount of these charges at reception when you check in. Replacement and cleaning charges match the actual cost, and we will show you the receipt if you ask.
At check-in
When you register and sign the check-in document, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted these rules and the hostel's terms and conditions, and that you accept any charges that may apply under them.
